Founder & President
Matt Durfee is an Executive Recruiter and the author of IBPA award-winning book and #1 category seller, The Job Search Navigator, and a former national newspaper columnist (Navigating Your Job Search) for American City Business Journals with 4,000,000 readers in 40 U.S. markets. Prior to launching Navigator Executive Advisors and the Navigator Institute, Matt Durfee held CHRO and HR Executive positions in a number of the world’s most admired companies includingPepsi-Cola, Nestle, Frito-Lay International, Hard Rock Cafe, Bank One, Cendant,andCentex Homes.
His extensive international corporate experience is supplemented with a two-session assignment for the U.S. Council for International Business to represent national employer interests at the European United Nations/I.L.O. in Geneva, Switzerland. Matt earned his Master’s degree in HR & Labor Relations from Michigan State University and subsequently completed an executive program in Financial Analysis at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Director of Client Relations & Operations
Diane has served on the Navigator Team since 2011 and is the VP of Client Relations & Operations. She is responsible for client coaching, recruiting, training, and corporate alliance partnerships, which includes leading a Team of 150+ Outplacement Coaches throughout the U.S. During her distinguished career, she has held key HR management positions with several of the most prominent names in the hospitality and resort industries including Hyatt Regency Hotels, the Peabody Hotel Group, Grenelefe Golf & Tennis Resort and most recently Wyndham Destinations as Regional Director of Human Resources. Diane holds a degree in Psychology & Philosophy and has served on several executive boards.
Alex Carvallo has more than 15 years of digital marketing, design, operations, and creative direction experience. He began working with Navigator Executive Advisors in 2006 as the Creative and Marketing Director. He oversees the technical and creative vision for the Navigator Institute and partners to ensure a smooth digital user experience for all Navigator customers. Alex holds a degree is Digital Media specializing in Internet and Interactive Systems and is currently based in New York City.
